Alison Adriano is a Melbourne based Actress/ Creative, trained in Acting and Filmmaking. Alison is a graduate of the esteemed 16th Street Actors Studio Part-Time Program, whereby she trained under award winning mentors/directors including Kim Farrant (Strangerland), Alkinos Tsimildos, Rowena Balos, Gabriella Rose Carter, Anthony Wong, Penelope Chater etc. Alison has since trained under teachers Jason Raftopolous (West of Sunshine), Les Chantery, Damien Walshe Howling , Carl Ford (Susan Batson Studio NY) and was coached by the late Elizabeth Kemp (Actors Studio NY). Her acting credits include Secret Bridesmaids Business, House Husbands, TVCS for Medibank, Optus and music videos, and leads in numerous independent short films and webseries.
Alison has also completed a Bachelor of Film/Television at Swinburne University, in which her graduate film “Salt in Wounds” which she Wrote/Directed/Edited/Acted in went on to screen internationally and locally at festivals including Melbourne Women Film festival in which it won the Programmers Choice Award for Best Short Film, New Renaissance Film Festival Amsterdam whereby it was nominated for Best Short Drama, San Francisco Indie Fest, Babesfest Austin, Femme Frontera Festival Texas and the BAFTA accredited London Short Film Festival.
Alison has also modeled for clients including Hype, Factorie, All about Eve, Kuwaii and Sister Studios. In addition Alison is currently working on a solo music production project.
